Has your DJI drone stopped functioning properly? Just last week, DJI announced that customers must log in and activate new firmware in order to keep their drone functioning properly.
DJI is doing this so that they can synchronise the firmware with the laws for the area the drone is operating in – which is actually a pretty good reason when you think about it. But DJI is forcing customers to do this with a pretty harsh penalty – if your drone remains unregistered, it will be limited to a 50 metre range, and fly no higher than 30 metres.
Pretty confusing for someone who didn’t get the memo!
The good news is that to fix it, all you need to do is log into your DJI account and activate the new firmware update.
